With inspiration from fashion stylist Jessica Allen (@jessica.louise.allen), you can elevate your winter outfits to stay both stylish and comfortable through the cooler months.
See how she layered simple pieces to elevate three different styles below.
1 - Chic office wear
Finding inspiration for office outfits can be tough. For this look, Jessica has opted for a long sleeve maxi dress. However, if you have a strapless or spaghetti strap dress, you can achieve the same look by layering a long sleeve top underneath or over the top. Clean, white sneakers are a great comfortable footwear option, and the oversized blazer elevates the outfit to give it a polished look that’s perfect for the office.
Consider accessorising with a statement earring to keep the look a neat yet impactful. Add a neutral bag to complete the look.

2 - Elevated Activewear
For many of us, activewear is an easy way to dress comfortably. So, Jessica has taken on the challenge of turning activewear into something you can wear beyond exercise and errands.
For this look, Jessica has styled leggings with a fleece jumper, sneakers, and an oversized trench coat. This is accessorised with minimalist earrings and shoulder bag. This look is especially easy to create from your existing wardrobe pieces, with some smart yet simple layering.

3 - Stylish Smart Casual
For this outfit, Jessica has created a look that’s more smart than casual, without compromising comfort. She’s paired a cosy jumper in the same colour as her pants, then styled the look with tan boots and bag, statement earrings, and a denim shacket to mix up the materials and colour.
By utilising different patterns and colours for her tops and accessories, this outfit adds interest to simple colours and materials and create a look that’s both smart and comfortable.
